Consequences of Complacency

I am going to start this blog with a quick but mighty word from God.

RISE UP!

The Lord doesn’t want me as a woman in Christ to indulge in Idleness and luxury.

The vintage shall fail says the Lord. The reality that we live in is the gathering will stop coming. Judgement is coming and the sooner I stop living in Lala land the sooner I will equipt myself for what is coming. Satisfaction needs to be in God and God only. The wise heart will receive commands, but a prating fool will fall.

As a woman in Christ, HE doesn’t want us to be envious of the boastful when seeing the prosperity of the wicked. This one right here is a hard one for me and a slippery slope for most I presume. I think it’s hard to separate what we see others having online/in person and wanting it and distinguishing what is really needed and what He will provide. He is very clear in not being envious of the sinner’s riches, financial or not. This helped me to switch my mindset and check my motive and as a saying goes in my household, FIX YOUR FOCUS!

Abiding in Him as a believer is my SAFETY. I will wait patiently for the fulfilling of Gods promises. We are his weapons of war. I want to be the vessel HE uses to make this world a better place. I trust in you Lord. I don’t need to have everything, and I will be in want of nothing but You.

Daily reminder

Luke 17:3 Take heed to yourself. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, “I repent, you shall forgive him.”

Repeat this… I am a warrior for Christ. In Jesus Name, Amen
